LASEROPTIK GmbH was honored with the TRUMPF Supplier Award in the ”Best Innovator” category at the TRUMPF Supplier Day. The laudatory speech highlighted in particular the award winner’s commitment to the successful optimization of optical coatings, which TRUMPF uses for optics in special high-performance laser systems. Their performance depends largely on the optical components used, which are coated at LASEROPTIK GmbH using complex physical processes.
Owner and Managing Director Dr. Wolfgang Ebert accepted the award on behalf of his company from Jan Kistner, Head of Corporate Purchasing at TRUMPF, and laudator David Renner, who is responsible for the optics division in TRUMPF’s purchasing department in Ditzingen. Dr. Wolfgang Ebert expressed his thanks for the many years of inspiring collaboration, which he considers emblematic of the award. David Renner from TRUMPF also emphasized: ”I would like to highlight the always very constructive cooperation at all levels that has connected us for many years. The combination of technical excellence, fair dealings with each other and the pursuit of continuous improvement characterize the award winner and our joint partnership.
