Luminit forms holographic Security Microstructure Group

Los Angeles, CA--Holographic technology company Luminit LLC formed its Security Microstructure Group to enter into high-level document security and brand authentication industries.

Los Angeles, CA--Holographic technology company Luminit LLC announced the formation of its Security Microstructure Group and its entry into high-level document security and brand authentication as well as citizen identity protection programs and products. The Luminit Security Microstructure Group specializes in optically variable security devices such as hologram labels, tamper evident stickers, security tax stamps, holographic security shrink sleeves and security seals. The Security Microstructure Group also supplies security features and elements for identity documents, travel documents, and birth records.

Peyton Old, global account manager for Luminit Security Microstructure Group has more than 25 years of experience in international marketing of overt and covert security technologies, with specific specialization in diffractive optically variable image devices (DOVID) and optically variable devices (OVD) security microstructure technologies to federal, state, local governments, and private industry.

Engin Arik, president and CEO of Luminit LLC, said, "Luminit has long used holographic technologies in our main Light Shaping Diffuser [trade mark] product line, also known as 'holographic diffusers' in addition to using holographic technologies in its R&D group for US government SBIR projects and we are now very enthusiastic to be applying these technologies in a new market for us. We expect this area to offer significant expansion to Luminit."

Luminit is a privately held company specializing in custom and standard holographic diffusers based on multiple technology patents. Luminit's commercial experience covers applications including LED lighting, architectural lighting, biomedical, semiconductor metrology, aerospace, automotive, and display applications. Luminit’s Light Shaping Diffusers are available directly or through a network of domestic and international distributors.
